Our History

Warnke Precision was founded by Bob Warnke in April 1978 in his 576-sq.-ft. garage. Machining small details for mostly 2nd-tier companies was the mainstay of the business. By the spring of 1980, 7 acres had been purchased on Metamora Road in Oxford, and a 2,240 sq. ft. building was constructed. Additional machines were purchased, including the first CNC Mill. In 1994, Warnke Precision again outgrew its building and made its final addition, bringing the working space to 27,000 sq. ft. In 2016, Warnke Precision was purchased by the current ownership. To date, Warnke has experienced years of growth and has built a roster of loyal customers. With that strong foundation, there is still plenty of opportunity to grow. Since purchasing the company in August 2016, the Warnke team has added new employees and new machines. Warnke Precision can now deliver turnkey projects. These opportunities in the aerospace, defense, automotive, and medical markets will continue to drive growth now and into the future.
